Slab bottom, Turned top Diamond shaped bottom, transition to square then circle.



Wheel thrown top attached. Vase is 17.5 inches tall at this point.

Here is the final product. I goobered on the glaze (technical term only known by me. some call it Crawl)

My glaze container wasn't deep enough so I went back over it, got it too thick, took it off, got too thin...
Looking back, I should have washed it completely, dried it and re-glazed. mental note for next time.
The bamboo design is China paint, partly to camouflage the goobers, but I also wanted a flowing design
toward the bottom.
